RESTORING DETROIT
About the PROJECT
The journey began with a vacant house, stripped bare and weathered by time. A home that had witnessed the evolution of Detroit, only to fall into neglect, lacking not just floors and proper walls, but the warmth and vitality that make a house a home. Undeterred by the challenges, this project was more than a renovation; it was a small but significant step towards restoring Detroit's architectural tapestry. The goal was clear — to transform this neglected structure into a charming abode that would contribute to the city's revival. The home was built in 1916, and we sought to remodel the home but also showcase its charming elements.
A Home Reimagined for Sale
As the final strokes of restoration were applied, the once lifeless house transformed into a home ready to embrace a new chapter. The decision to put the revitalized residence on the market was not just about selling a property; it was an invitation for someone to become part of Detroit's resurgence, to own a piece of history brought back to life. We partnered with Impact Home Staging to fully furnish the home to be put up in the market for sale.
